How to play

Wordle is the daily word puzzle that conquered the planet. You have six tries to guess a five-letter word. After each guess, tiles change color: green for a correct letter in the correct position, yellow for a correct letter in the wrong position, gray for a letter not in the word. Wuti Zone ships a deterministic daily puzzle (everyone gets the same word every day, UTC-based), a fast on-screen QWERTY keyboard, color-coded keyboard hints, and a streak tracker.

Rules

• Guess the 5-letter secret word in 6 tries.
• Each guess must be a valid English 5-letter word.
• After each guess, every letter is colored: green = right letter in right spot, yellow = right letter wrong spot, gray = letter not in the word.
• Repeated letters: if the answer contains the letter only once but your guess has it twice, only one tile is colored.
• A new daily word is released every day at UTC midnight — everyone worldwide gets the same puzzle.
• Win by getting all five tiles green within 6 attempts.

Strategy tips

• Open with a 5-letter word that uses 5 different common letters: CRANE, SLATE, ADIEU, AROSE are classics.
• Use your second guess to test 5 more new letters; don't be tempted to reuse letters from guess 1 unless you've already locked them in.
• When a letter turns yellow, place it in a different column on the next guess.
• Track ruled-out letters by glancing at the on-screen keyboard — the gray keys are dead.
• Save rare letters (Q, X, Z, J, V) for late guesses — they're rarely in common words.
• If you're stuck on the last guess, prioritize the most likely letter pattern rather than a wild swing.

Is Wordle free?

Yes. Wuti Zone's Wordle is completely free, no signup, no download.

When does the new word come out?

A new daily puzzle drops at UTC midnight every day. Everyone in the world plays the same word that day.

Does my streak save?

Yes. Current streak and best streak are stored in your browser's localStorage. Today's in-progress guesses also persist if you close the tab.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes. Tap the on-screen QWERTY keyboard. The board scales to any screen width down to 320px.

Are hints available?

Not by design — Wordle is meant to be solved cold. The color feedback after each guess is the only hint.

What if I want unlimited puzzles?

Use the New Random button to play extra puzzles drawn from the same ~1000-word answer pool. Random puzzles don't count toward your daily streak.
