Memory Matching
Flip cards and find matching pairs

How to play
Memory Matching is the timeless card-flip classic: tap two cards per turn and try to find pairs. Wuti Zone's Memory ships with three difficulty tiers (easy 4×3, normal 4×4, hard 5×4), a deterministic daily layout (every player worldwide gets the same board per UTC day), and a free-play mode for unlimited shuffles. The score is the number of pair-attempts (moves) it took to clear the board — the fewer the better — and per-difficulty best moves persist in your browser.
Rules
- The board hides a number of pairs depending on difficulty: easy 6 pairs, normal 8 pairs, hard 10 pairs.
- Tap a face-down card to flip it. Tap a second card to attempt a pair.
- If both cards show the same symbol they stay face-up — that's a match.
- If the two cards don't match, they flip back face-down after a brief reveal.
- Each pair attempt counts as one move. Lower-is-better; your best per difficulty is saved locally.
- Daily mode uses a deterministic layout: every player worldwide sees the same cards in the same positions for a given UTC day + difficulty.
- Free play uses a fresh random shuffle every time.
Strategy tips
- Build a mental map as you go — even mismatches give you information you can use a few flips later.
- When you've already seen one card from a pair, flip the second card from memory first instead of starting a brand-new turn from scratch.
- Scan the board in a stable reading order (left-to-right, top-to-bottom) so card positions are easier to remember.
- Pause when you need to think — the timer keeps running, but moves only count when you finalise a pair.
- On harder grids, dedicate the first few moves to surveying corners and edges; those positions are easiest to anchor.
FAQ
- Is Memory Matching free?
- Yes. Wuti Zone's Memory Matching is completely free, no signup, no download.
- How does daily mode work?
- Daily mode picks a deterministic layout based on the UTC calendar day and the chosen difficulty. Every player worldwide gets the same card positions that day — refresh your tab and you'll resume the same board.
- Does my best save?
- Yes. Your fewest-moves best per difficulty is stored in your browser's localStorage. Daily completions also bump your streak.
- Can I play on mobile?
- Yes. Cards are sized at least 56px tall so a tap finds them comfortably. Light + dark themes follow the site setting.
